IFMSA-Panama is a national alliance of medical students interested in global health issues. Our organization aims to develop cooperation among medical students. We think that as future physicians, we should be more active in contributing to the development and well-being of our country and the world.

In this website we feature our country, the Republic of Panama, seen from a medical student's perspective. It is also known as "The Bridge of The World" because it not only connects two large land masses -North and South America- but also two large bodies of water -the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans-.

As a thriving developing country, Panama offers a melting pot of cultures, tradition and vibrant wildlife, but also Old-World charm and a vast array of modern amenities.
